Live Events Safety Passport
Upcoming Safety Passport Courses
About the scheme
The Live Event Safety Passport is a scheme designed for everyone in our industry to demonstrate basic health and safety awareness. Following the one day course, succesful candidates are provided with a credit card sized passport. Glastonbury is one of the first events to start using the passport scheme to ensure everyone working on site has basic safe working knowledge. Increasingly other companies and events will follow.
The scheme is administered by the Safety Pass Alliance, who operate passport schemes across a variety of industries. The core content of the course is set by experts from over a dozen industry sectors whilst the sector material was developed by the PSA in conjunction with event organisers, safety professionals, company owners and production managers.
The course deals with the legal H&S framework, the responsibilities of employers and employees, and specific issues with industry-specific reference such as manual handling, workplace transport, work at height, electricity, noise at work and slips, trips and falls.
