James Cobb
James Cobb has worked in the live music and event sector for 15 years. His recent focus has been compliance including licensing, health and safety, sustainability and environmental protection.
After completing a Natural Science degree at Cambridge, he started work in 1994 at the Flying Music Company, as production-coordinator on around 400 theatre and arena shows per year. Since then he has worked as a freelance tour and production manager, and for concert production company Sound Advice. He is a director of lighting supplier LXCO. In 2006 he was elected to the council of the Production Services Association, and is currently vice-chairman. He is also an RSA fellow. He holds the NEBOSH certificate in H&S and is a personal licence holder. In 2006 he founded CA.
