Glen Smith
Glen Smith has worked in roles across the whole technical production sector in a career spanning thirty years. Over this time he has worked as a Sound Engineer, Backline Tech, Tour Manager, Stage Manager and Production Manager.
His touring roles have included work with acts such as The Damned, The Boomtown Rats, KISS, Human League, Barbara Dickinson and the Thomson Twins.
During the eighties he worked as an Operations Manager for companies including Britannia Row, TFA concert Sound , TASCO and Supermick Lighting.
During the nineties he moved into pro-audio sales, and held positions with several companies, finally founding Glen Smith Audio .
His Stage Management experience encompasses the Glastonbury Main Stage for three years, Womad, and many other major festival stages.
In 2006 he became a partner in CA, with particular responsibility for technical production and stage management. In between CA events, he is currently also Van Morrison's production Manager.
