Julie's Bicycle Research Published
Julie’s Bicycle – a strange name for a worthy group of music industry luminaries who have got together to tackle the biggest issue around: Climate change. Last week we attended the launch of their research publication at the Royal Geographic Society in London on behalf of the PSA.
It was good to see some other live event production suppliers there too: White Light and Britannia Row (both incidentally PSA members!). However the research was a little more detailed on the recorded music side. That said, it makes interesting reading. Copies can now be downloaded from http://juliesbicycle.trinitystreetdirect.com.
The research is called ‘First Step’, and is just that. It’s a first step for the music industry in meeting the government target to reduce carbon emissions by at least 60% by 2050. We need to do it. And it will be easier if we start now…
